The activities and impact of the Linguistics League were discussed at the 2022 LSA annual meeting in the session titled Linguistics in High School: Pathways for Student Engagement.

Ling League helped organize a student research poster session where some of our members presented, and we also organized an escape room and a hybrid social gathering for LSA student members. Since much of the conference was virtual due to COVID, plans had to change to match, but this meant that more people from around the globe could attend and meet famous linguists such as Gretchen McCulloch!

At the 2025 LSA annual meeting, many of our members attended the High School Student Showcase, which created a space for students to meet each other and brought their voices to the academic linguistics community.
